Elizabeth Clemons

Elizabeth Anne Clemons "Beth" Lowman: Passed away at her childhood home on Thursday, April 26, 2012 after she had fought diligently with a very difficult battle with a brain tumor. Beth was born in Elmira on November 2, 1946, one of a team. She was a daughter of Steward E. and Florence (Collins) Clemons. She was predeceased by her father, and sister-in-law Betty Strawn Clemons. Beth is survived by mother Florence of Lowman; sisters, Jean of Ithaca and Mary (her twin) of Syracuse; brother Steward E., Jr. of Franklin NC. Also surviving are 6 nieces and nephews along with their spouses and children. Beth operated Beautiful Brides by Beth; one of Syracuse's well known bridal couture. She loved making bridal dresses from scratch, designing or redesigning them. In her younger years Beth belonged to the Girl Scouts and 4H Clubs as well as 4H Council. She was a graduate of EFA Class of 1964 and St. Joseph's Hospital X-Ray school. Family and friends are invited to McInerny Funeral Home, corner of W. Water and Walnut Streets, on Saturday, April 28, 2012 from 12:00 noon to 2:00 p.m. A funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to a charity of one's choice.
