Edward Sullivan

Age 88, passed away on Thursday, August 18, 2016 at the Arnot Ogden Medical Center. Ed was born in Elmira, a son of John and Abby Sullivan. He was predeceased by his wife Martha E. Richards Sullivan and brother John Sullivan. Ed is survived by his second wife Betty Ward Sullivan; sons, Ron (Fran) Sullivan of Landenberg PA with sons, Patrick (Amy) and Joseph (Kate); Michael (Pamela) Sullivan of Fairport NY with sons, Andrew, Peter and Matthew; daughter Linda (Dan) Walburn of Pine City with children, David (Stephanie), Brian (Laura) and Christina (Dan) Wylie; sisters, Irene Guthrie of Rochester, Jean (Charles) DesJardins of Wilmington DE; 7 great grandchildren and numerous cousins. Ed retired as a supervisor from Hardinge Inc. with over 40 years of service. He was a member of the John J. Lee Division of the Ancient Order of Hibernians. Family and friends are invited to St. Mary's Church, 224 Franklin St., Elmira, on Monday, August 22, 2016 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:00 a.m. Committal prayers and interment will follow at St. Peter and Paul's Cemetery.
