Edward Bambury

Age 77 of Belleview, FL, passed away February 6, 2017 after a long illness. Pete was born October 9, 1939, a son of Edward and Catherine (Raymond) Bambury. He was a graduate of Penn State University. Pete married Shelby Rusk in Atlanta GA when he was serving in the U S Air Force. He became a math teacher and coached high school football. Pete was an avid cross-country skier and a runner. Shelby predeceased him on June 9, 2013. Pete is survived by his son and daughter-in-law Timothy and Michele Bambury of Charlottesville, VA; daughter and son-in-law Teresa and Mark Frahm of Spring, TX; five grandchildren; siblings; Jack Bambury of The Villages, FL, Donna Bateman of Leesburg, FL, Mary Ann Mowers of The Villages, FL; along with several nieces and nephews. Friends are invited to McInerny Funeral Home, 502 W. Water Street, Elmira, NY, on Saturday, May 13, 2017 from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. A funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow in St. Peter & Paul's Cemetery.
