Doris Janowsky

Age 76, of Elmira Heights, passed away Friday, June 12, 2015. Doris was born in Montour Falls NY on May 26, 1939 a daughter of the late Julius and Lillian (Reidy) Janowsky. She is also predeceased by her brothers, Julius, Jr. and Charles Janowsky. Doris is survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Caroline and Donald Barron of Elmira; brother and sister-in-law, Edward and Joyce Janowsky of State College PA; numerous nieces, nephews , great nieces, great nephews, great-great nieces, great-great nephews and many friends. Doris was a much loved sister and aunt. She was known for making her family laugh. Doris enjoyed playing cards and listening to all types of music. Family and friends are invited to McInerny Funeral Home, 502 West Water Street, Elmira on Tuesday, June 16, 2015 from 12:00 noon to 2:00 p.m. Private burial will take place at Woodlawn Cemetery.
