Donald Alan Miller

Age 54, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, September 30, 2021. Don was born in Elmira a son to Linda Vanderpool Keehan of Elmira and Donald A. Miller of Corning. In addition to his parents Don is survived by his loving wife and companion of 22 years Nancy Colunio Miller; stepson Nicholas Mastrantonio of Horseheads with his daughters Myla Rose and Gianna Marie; sister and brother-in-law Hope and Rob Strong of Elmira with their children Molly and Joshua; sisters-in-law, Barbara Colunio with Gina Unwin of Elmira and Nicki Tadder and husband David of Ocala FL with their son Carson; also surviving are several aunts, uncles and cousins. Don is predeceased by his sister Jamie Allison Miller. Don was a longtime member of the Plumbers and Pipe Fitters Union Local 81. In addition to his union work, Don also operated Miller Contracting. He loved deep sea fishing, was an avid golfer and also enjoyed shooting darts. Don was "Poppy" to his two granddaughters whom he adored. Family and friends are invited to McInerny Funeral Home, 502 W. Water St., Elmira, on Tuesday, October 5, 2021, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Masks will be required at the funeral home.
