Deanne Marie Williams

Deanne Marie Williams, 83, of Big Flats NY was welcomed into the arms of the Lord on Monday, October 20, 2025 after a brief illness.

She was born in Corning NY and attended Corning Painted Post Schools.

Deanne worked for Corning Incorporated for many years, prior to retiring from Big Flats Town Hall as Deputy Clerk.  Deanne led a very active life. She enjoyed skating, bowling, and attended many community groups, but her favorites were volunteer firefighter and EMT.

She was the daughter of Richard & Freida Smith who preceded her in death, along with her loving husband Joseph M. Williams.

Survived by her daughter Melissa (Jim) McKaig and son Joseph P. Williams; grandchildren, Steven McKaig & Sarah (Kyle) Knapp, Tyler Williams & Jared (Jaycie) Williams; along with great-grandchildren, Rhylinn McKaig, Korbin & Odin Knapp, Aiden & Jaxon Williams; brother Dennis T. Smith, and his daughter Michelle (Matt) McCaslin with sons, Justin & John Hawley; and Brandon & Sarah Smith.

Deanne will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. 

Though no services are planned, the family appreciates your thoughts & prayers.
