Age 74, passed away Wednesday, January 4, 2017 at the Arnot Ogden Medical Center. David was born in New York City the son of James and Maritza (Mikaelian) Siroonian. He was predeceased by his sister Sandy Siroonian. David is survived by his daughter and son-in-law Kristie Siroonian and Luke Emblidge of Fairfax VA; son David Arthur Siroonian of Ridgewood NJ; sister Anna Papadopoulos of Arvada CO; niece Annette Ajamian of Elmira Heights; nephews, Spyros Papadopoulos, Ted Papadopoulos and David Michael Siroonian. David was a U.S. Army veteran serving during the Vietnam War. He was a photo engraver, and a master of his trade, for many years in the New York City metropolitan area, before moving to the Elmira area in 1996. David was a longtime volunteer at the Arnot Ogden Medical Center and for the past few years a volunteer with Meals on Wheels. Family and friends are invited to McInerny Funeral Home, 502 W. Water St. Elmira, on Tuesday, January 10, 2017 from 9:00 a.m. to 10:15 a.m., with a service to follow. Committal prayers, with military honors, will follow at Woodlawn National Cemetery.
