David Savino

Age 59, passed away on Saturday, February 4, 2017 at Geneva General Hospital with his family by his side. David was born in Elmira, a son of the late Joseph A. Sr., and Elizabeth (Tota) Savino. He was also predeceased by his sister Carolyn Savino. David is survived by his siblings and their families, Joseph A., Jr. and Debra Savino, Pine City and children, Michael, Gregory (Lauren), and Kristen; Kathleen S. and Whitney Vantine, Youngstown, NY and children, Emily (Zach) and Tyler; Debra and Mario DeMichele, Horseheads, and daughter Lauren; Diane and Michael Carozza, Horseheads; Peter J. and Linda Savino, Bristow, VA; many aunts, uncles, great nieces and nephew, and cousins. David loved country music and chocolate ice cream. He loved to participate in the programs at the Happiness House and he loved his caregivers at West Lake in Geneva, NY. Private family funeral services will be handled at the convenience of the family. Memorial donations in David's memory can be made to the Ontario County Humane Society, 2976 County Rd. 48, Canandaigua, NY 14424. David's family is grateful for the loving care he received from the entire staff and caregivers at his West Lake Home, as well as all those at the Happiness House and a special thank you to nurse Julia for the love and care she gave David. The family would also like to acknowledge the wonderful care David received from the Nurses, Doctors, and Staff at the Geneva General Hospital ICU and second floor west.
