Big Flats, age 79, passed away, Saturday, January 27, 2024 at the Arnot Ogden Medical Center. Dan was born in Johnson City NY, son of the late David F. Delbridge and Eleanor Schwehm Perry. He was also predeceased by his sister Margaret Conlin. Dan is survived by his loving wife of 36 years, Barbara Williams Delbridge; daughter Tanya (Ray) Lawton of Elmira; daughter Stephanie (Jared) Martin of Elmira with children, Jacob Marshall, Makayla VanKeuren, and Keagan Martin; son Anthony (Amanda) Cady of Elmira with children, Christopher Cady, William Labar and Kriesten Cady, son Christopher (Renee’) Cady of Horseheads with children, Noah and Aaliyah Cady; son Daniel Delbridge and daughter Holly Delbridge; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Janice Keaton, James (Bea) Williams, Linda (Bruce) Bush, Ward (Sally) Williams, Victoria (Raymond) Richardson, Philip (Donna) Johnson and Candi Blaha; along with all his loving nieces and nephews that he cared deeply for.
Dan was a US Army Vietnam War veteran. He was a mechanical engineer and had worked for various companies and as a private consultant.
Family and friends are invited to McInerny Funeral Home, 502 W. Water St., Elmira, on Friday, February 2, 2024, from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. A funeral service will follow at 3:15 p.m. Military honors will follow outside of the funeral home after the funeral service. Burial will take place at Fitzsimmons Cemetery, Elmira on Saturday, February 3, 2024 at 10:00 a.m.
