Daniel Davis

Daniel L. Davis Elmira: Age 63, passed away Tuesday, November 20, 2012. Dan was born December 27, 1948 in Williamsport PA the son of the late Edwin and June (Huzey) Davis. In addition to his parents he is predeceased by his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Lyle and Betty Edwards. Dan is survived by his wife of 43 years Cindy Edwards Davis; son Timothy D. Davis, Elmira; daughter Kristine L. Hall, Elmira; grandchildren, Marley, Johnathan, Davis, and Annabella Hall; step granddaughters, Sandy Isakov and Elizabeth Hall with her daughter Isabella; brothers, John and Steve; sisters, Linda and Avalyn; brothers-in-law and sister-in-law, James and Connie Edwards, Dave Edwards, Fred and Susan Edwards; along with several nieces and nephews. Dan worked for Mansfield University for 30 years, retiring as the Director of Printing Services. An avid runner he had run in the Boston, New York, Chicago, Walt Disney World and the Wine Glass Marathons. Dan enjoyed fishing. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge #350 in Blossburg PA. Dan's passion was his family…his children and grandchildren defined him, he was the one his family counted on when anything was needed. His final day on this earth started with the things he loved most….time spent with family and then going for a run. He will forever be loved and missed.
