Age 54, passed away on Monday, July 14, 2025. Chris was a proud graduate of Southside High School, where he played football, baseball, and basketball and formed life-long friendships. After high school he honorably served his country in the United States Coast Guard, embodying the values of service, discipline, and commitment.
Following his military service, Chris went on to become a dedicated member of IBEW Local 139, working in the trade with integrity and pride. He was known for his strong work ethic, generous spirit, and loyalty to those he cared about.
Chris loved to be outdoors. Whether fishing on a quiet lake or playing a round of golf with friends, he found peace and joy in nature. He also was an avid Bills and N.Y. Yankee fan. More than anything he loved being a father. Watching his children – Jenna, Molly and Collin – excel in sports and school brought him his greatest pride and happiness.
Chris is predeceased by his father, and hero, James “Barney” Moylan. He is survived by his loving mother Barbara Moylan; former wife and and best friend, Shannon Moylan; three beloved children, Jenna, Molly, and Collin; sister and brother-in-law Cary and Michael McLaughlin; niece Courtney Michalko, and her children, Julian and Liam. He is fondly remembered by his aunts and uncle, Joanne Cambio, JoAnn and Donald Wilber; cousins, and dear friends whose lives he touched with his kindness and unwavering support.
