Christopher Robert "Chris" Briggs

Chris, age 52, passed away at the Robet Packer Hospital on Thursday, July 17, 2025 after a long battle with several health issues.  Chris was born in Elmira, a son of Robert L. and Patricia Cicconi Briggs.   In addition to his parents Chris is survived by his loving and devoted wife Amy Denunzio Briggs; children Mason Briggs, Ryan Briggs, Hunter Clark, Sarah Clark, Rosalie Briggs, Roman Briggs and Wyatt Briggs; brother and sister-in-law Andrew and Patricia Briggs.

Chris enjoyed playing poker, golf and corn hole.  He was an avid Buffalo Bills fan.  Most importantly, Chris had a great love for his family.

Family and friends are invited to New Beginnings United Methodist Church, 300 East Miller St., Elmira on Wednesday, July 23, 2025.  Visitation will take place from 11:00 am to 12:00 noon.  A Celebration of Life for Chris will follow at 12:00 noon.
