Catherine Loretta McCarty Horseheads: Age 80, passed away Sunday, March 18, 2012 at Elcor Health Services. Loretta was born in Elmira, daughter of the late John and Catherine (Casey) Dunlavey. She was predeceased by daughters, Mary Jo Brinthaupt and Michele McCarty. Loretta is survived by her husband of 60 years, Harry A. McCarty; daughter Lu Ann McCarty of Horseheads; daughters and sons-in-law, Sharon J. and Thomas Fitzsimmons of Rochester, NY, Patricia L. and Greg Lawrence of Orefield, PA; brother and sister-in-law, Thomas and Margaret Dunlavey of Leister, NY; grandchildren, Brian Brinthaupt, Amy, Lisa, and Colleen Fitzsimmons; along with several nieces and nephews. At the request of her family there will be private services.
