Brooks Kelsey Bellows

Brooks Kelsey Bellows, age 66, passed away unexpectedly, at home, on Friday, December 26, 2025. Brooks was born in Elmira, a son of the late Raymond W. Bellows Sr. and Dolores M. Bruman. He was also predeceased by grandson Shon Hubbard, granddaughter Hannah Carey, sister Becky Bellows, brother Grant Bellows Sr., and nephew Thomas Bellows Jr. Brooks is survived by daughters, Tiffany Sherman (Steven) of Beaver Dams NY, Susan Garrison (Jobby) of Erin NY, Tabatha Bellows of Erin NY and Valerie Abbott (Nichole) of Chemung; grandchildren, Monica and Piper Sherman, Brooks Abbene, Andrew Springer, Bryan Morseman, Sara Morseman, Jacob Bellows and Jessyca Carey; great grandson Daymon Bellows; sister MyAnna Bellows; former wife and good friend Susan Haley; brothers, Raymond Bellows, Ray “Punk” Bellows Jr., Thomas Bellows Sr. (Jodi) and Greg Bellows; along with many nieces and nephews.

Brooks was presently employed at Pladis (formerly DeMet’s Candy Company). He led a simple life. He liked to fish and hunt. Brooks enjoyed hanging out with family, especially his grandchildren. He was the captain of the BS team! 

Brooks did not enjoy the winter weather so a celebration of his life with be held in the Spring or Summer of 2026.
