Brenda Peterson Smith Gillett PA: Age 48 passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday morning, July 27, 2011. Brenda was born in Elmira on April 26, 1963 the daughter of Jacquelyn Spittel Peterson of Towanda and the late Richard "Dick" Peterson. In addition to her mother Brenda is survived by her loving husband, Michael J. Smith; their children, Sarah and Brandon Smith; her daughters, Amanda, Kellie and Samantha McKamey; step daughter Jessica Chilson; her wonderful grandchildren, Collin, Autumn and Mara; brother Kevin Peterson and his wife Terra; grandmother Catherine Hartman Peterson; along with several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Private family services will be held.
