Brenda Casteline

Brenda E. Casteline Tully NY: formerly of Troy, PA passed away Friday May 17, 2013, comfortably at home after battling an illness. Brenda was born September 28, 1963, in Troy, a daughter of the late Raymond and Evelyn (Johnson) Casteline. Brenda was most recently employed by the Cortland NY school system as a secretary. She enjoyed her friends and co-workers very much. She was a lover of all animals, especially cats. Brenda is survived by her boyfriend of many years, Brett Stanburg and their cats "Stinkee" and "Romee". She leaves her brother Harold Casteline (and wife Sally), Elmira, brother Larry Casteline, Elmira Heights and sister Carol Pendergrass, Tennessee, as well as aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Calling hours are to be held at McInerny Funeral Home, 502 W. Water Street, Elmira, on Wednesday, May 22, 2013 from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Interment will take place on Thursday, May 23, 2013 at Maple Grove Cemetery, Horseheads. In lieu of flowers or other donations, Brenda specifically asked that people donate to their local S.P.C.A.
