Audrey was a member of the Spencer Federated Church for many, many years before her illness. She was a proud leader of the TOPS group in Van Etten. She was an outstanding home maker who loved cooking, baking, sewing, quilting and of course knitting. She was very active in the community and loved working with children. Audrey was a Cub Scout leader and co-leader in Huntsville, Alabama and in Spencer. She worked as a hall monitor for many years at the SVE School where she met and made many life-long friends. She was an 'adopted mom' by many people who loved her like their own mother. She had her own in-home business, "Wee Hearts" for several years where she made and sold stuffed bears. Audrey will be laid to rest in the Halsey Valley Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Care First, formally known as Southern Tier Hospice & Palliative Care.
