Ashley Gush

Elmira: Age 19 passed away on Saturday, January 4, 2014 as the result of an accidental fall. Ashley was born on February 26, 1994, daughter of Thomas J. and Judy Jenkins Gush. In addition to her parents she is survived by her sister, Katie Gush at home; brother Paul Gush with his son Kyle Conklin; sister and brother-in-law, Tammy and Rich Bollen with their children Kayla and Michael; maternal grandfather James Jenkins; first love and soul mate Tyler Crater; best friends Tara and Jessica Patykula who Ashley thought of as sisters. Also surviving are several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Ashley was a 2012 graduate of Southside High School and was attending SUNY Albany with dreams of becoming a physician's assistant. Ashley was a very outgoing girl who enjoyed having a good time and loved life. She will be deeply missed by her loving family, friends and all who knew her. Family and friends are invited to McInerny Funeral Home, 502 W. Water Street, Elmira on Wednesday, January 8, 2014 from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm and 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, January 9, 2014 at 10:00 am at St. Mary's Church, Elmira. Committal prayers and interment will follow at St. Peter & Paul's Cemetery.
