Antoinette M. Pirozzolo (Antonia Altilio)

Age 98, passed away peacefully at home on Monday, August 4, 2025.  Antoinette was born in Manhattan NY, a daughter of Frank and Mary Campanelli Altilio.  She was predeceased by her husband of 71 years John J. Pirozzolo; siblings, Theresa, Angie, Pauline, Francis, Joseph.  Antoinette is survived by her sons with their families, Fran Pirozzolo of Houston TX with sons, John (Bradie) Pirozzolo and Joe (Marisol) Pirozzolo and their mother Priscilla Pirozzolo … Tom Pirozzolo of Elmira with his daughters, Niki (Won) Frierson and Ann Pirozzolo (Ron Vosburg) …. Michael Pirozzolo of Elmira … Ron and Susie Pirozzolo of Big Flats with children, Dr. Jason (Savara) Pirozzolo, Brian Pirozzolo (Sarah Vallely), Andrew Pirozzolo, and Jennifer Pirozzolo (Robert Stafford)… Mark Pirozzolo with Andrew Perry of Houston TX; 13 great-granddaughters; 2 great-grandsons; brother and sister-in-law Gerald and Jan Altilio of Big Flats; brother-in-law and sisters-in-law, Richard and Joyce Pirozzolo of Horseheads, Evelyn Altilio of Sparta TN; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great- nephews and cousins.

Antoinette had worked in the Administration Office at the Elmira City School District for many years.  She was a longtime active communicant of St. Anthony’s Church and was a member of the Ladies of Charity.  She was an avid card player.

Family and friends are invited to McInerny Funeral Home, 502 West Water St. Elmira, on Friday, August 8, 2025 from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.  A prayer service will be held there Saturday, August 9, 2025 at 8:45 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m. at St. Patrick’s Church, 604 Park Place, Elmira.  A livestream of the Mass will be available through the Facebook page for Most Holy Name of Jesus Parish (https://www.facebook.com/ElmiraCatholic).  Committal prayers and interment will follow at St. Peter & Paul’s Cemetery.
