Ann Schwab

Age 89, passed away peacefully at Elderwood Nursing Home in Waverly on Saturday, November 15, 2014. Ann was born in Elmira on May 27, 1925, a daughter of Michael and Theodosia (Cusick) Rusczak. She was predeceased by brothers, Nicholas, Joseph, Charles and Stephen and sister Olga Owen. Ann is survived by her children, Stephen J. Schwab of Mims FL, Elizabeth A. Oldroyd with husband Richard of Horseheads, Jan M. Schwab-Woodward with husband William Woodward of Gillett PA, and Maureen Karam of Elmira; grandchildren, Daniel Oldroyd with his daughter Kendra; Michael Gee (with Angel St. Germain) and his children Brittany and Tanner; Noah Gee with his daughter Alexandria "Alli"; also surviving are several nieces, nephews and her Elderwood 3rd floor family. Ann was a long time communicant of St. Mary's Church. She was a member of the Ladies of Charity, the Ithaca Eagles Club and St. Joseph's Hospital Auxiliary. At Ann's request private family services will be held.
