Ann Rees

Age 83, passed away on Sunday, April 23, 2017, at Albany Medical Center, Albany NY. Ann was born and raised in Elmira, a daughter of Laura (Bellucci) and Frank Cassetta. She is predeceased by her husband, Richard E. Rees; son, Mark Rees; and brother Frank Casetta. Ann is survived by her daughter Pamela A. Martin of Skaneateles NY, with children, Craig Martin and Laura (Joseph) DiCenzo; son and daughter-in-law Richard E. and Elizabeth Rees of Delmar NY with their children, Matthew and Rachel. Ann was a long time real estate agent with Ambrose Real Estate. She was an avid bridge player and enjoyed playing golf for many years. Ann had a close circle of friends whom she enjoyed getting together with for a good game of bridge, lunch or dinner. For the past several years Ann enjoyed her winters living in Florida. Friends are invited to Ann's Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday, April 27, 2017, 10:00 a.m., Our Lady of Lourdes Church, 1100 W. Church Street, Elmira. Interment, with committal prayers, will be held privately for family members, after the Mass, at St. Peter & Paul's Cemetery.
