Alison Symolon

Elmira: died at the age of 58 on Friday, November 7, 2014. Alison was a loving mother, compassionate nurse and dear friend to many. She was born on August 8, 1956 in Kingston-on-Thames, Surrey, England. Alison is survived by her mother Valerie Wheeler Green of Hailsham, England; daughter Holly E. Symolon of Atlanta GA; siblings, Catherine Clinton of Fort Plain NY, William Craigen, and his wife Elizabeth Basler of Houston TX, Lesley Fahy of Fort Plain NY; along with several nieces and nephews. Alison will be deeply missed by all those she touched with her infectious laughter and unending love. Friends are invited to McInerny Funeral Home, 502 W. Water Street, Elmira on Wednesday, November 12, 2014 from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. A funeral service will follow.
