Suzanne M. Gamer

Age 70, of Elmira, died Wednesday, July 7, 2010 at Elcor Health Services. Sue was born February 3, 1940, in Dannemora, NY, the daughter of the late John V. and Gertrude (Grimes) Harding. In addition to her parents she is predeceased by her husband Robert N. Gamer. Sue is survived by her son, Robert J. “R.J.” Gamer; daughter, Mary E. Davis, with sons, Zachary A. and Michael T. Davis, all of Elmira; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, William L. and Theresa Gamer of West Seneca, NY; nephew, with his family, Lawrence Gamer of Rochester, NY; life time friends, Mary Claire Klugo and Carole Clark, both of Elmira; along with several extended family members. Sue enjoyed traveling and spending time with family and friends. She was retired from Sears with 42 years of service. Sue was a life long communicant of St. Patrick’s Church. There will be no calling hours. Friends are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday, July 10, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Patrick’s Church, Elmira. Donations in Sue’s memory may be made to either Notre Dame High School, 1400 Maple Avenue, Elmira, NY 14904, or Chemung A.R.C., 711 Sullivan Stree, Elmira, NY 14901.
