Mary Virginia Lynch

Elmira: Passed away on Sunday, May 15, 2011 at St. Joseph’s Hospital. Mary Virginia was born in Elmira, a daughter of the late James H. and Mary (Rudnick) Lynch. She was predeceased by her brother James Lynch. Mary Virginia is survived by her twin sister and brother-in-law Marilyn M. and Richard Oparil of Dewitt NY; nephew Richard J. Oparil of Washington D.C. with his wife Donna and their daughters Kimberly Marie and Maria Alexandra. Also surviving are her brother’s children, John, Dr. William, Robert, James, Karen and Mary Lou. Mary Virginia was retired from Royal Globe Insurance with over 30 years of service. Family and friends are invited to McInerny Funeral Home, corner of W. Water and Walnut Streets, on Thursday, May 19, 2011 from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. A funeral service will follow at 5:00 p.m. Burial will take place on Friday at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Dewitt NY.
