Marjorie C. Lowman

“Maudie”

Age 87, of Elmira, NY passed away at Bethany Manor, on Saturday, January 29, 2011 after an extended illness. A graduate of Skidmore College, Marjorie was an active and giving community member, devoting much of her time and energy to Trinity Church. She is predeceased by her husband of 48 years, Marshall “Rip” Lowman. She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Raymond M. and Carole Lowman of Painted Post, NY, Peter M. and Kathleen Lowman of Elmira, Steven C. Lowman of Elmira, daughter and son-in-law, Caryl and Randy Parker of Melvin Village, NH; grandchildren, Elizabeth (Chris) McCullough, Allan (Amber) Lowman, Marshall Lowman, Sara and Lauren Lowman, Peter (Bethany) Parker and Katherine Linley; great-grandchildren, Katherine, Charles and Caroline McCullough and Schuyler Parker. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family at Riverside Cemetery, Lowman, NY. The Lowman family would like to extend their deepest gratitude to the Bethany Manor staff for the wonderful care given to Marjorie.
