St. Valentine’s Day, February 14, 2010, the angels in heaven were lonely and
called one more angel home to them. At
age 68, Lucy Ann Fesh Kozlowski of Apalachin, NY died suddenly at Wilson
Hospital in Johnson City, NY. Lucy was born October 15, 1941 to John Fesh
and Angeline Ponzi in Elmira. Lucy is
survived by her loving husband of 48
years, Richard M. Kozlowski; children, Julianne (Gregg) of Batavia, NY,
Cathrine of Endicott, and Richard W. of Endicott; grandchildren, Matt, Jim, Leanndra, Erik,
Kaitlyn; great-granddaughter Maddison; brother and sister-in-law, Mike and
Kathy Fesh of Toledo, OH; cousins – “sisters”, Dee (Bill) Cotterill, Angie
(John) Barbito, Jo (Don) Blide, Toni (Charley) Blide, Cathy (Ed) Jadoski; along
with several nieces, nephews, and too many friends to mention. Lucy was retired from New York Telephone,
however, she stayed active working various part time jobs over the years. But, she always left time to indulge in her
favorite pastime – visiting casinos near and far. Lucy was an avid reader and people
watcher. Mostly though, she loved
sitting around drinking coffee and laughing with her family. Lucy is loved and will be missed terribly by
all. Family and friends are invited to McInerny Funeral Home, 502 W. Water Street, Elmira, NY,
on Wednesday, February 17, 2010 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held
Thursday, February 18, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at Ss. Peter & Paul Church, 161 High Street, Elmira. Interment will follow at St. Peter &
Paul’s Cemetery.
