“Chris”

Elmira Heights: passed away unexpectedly on Monday, July 25, 2011 at Arnot Ogden Medical Center, surrounded by his daughters, and best friend. Chris was born in Rochester NY on October 20, 1942, a son of the late James B. and Mary (Holbrook) Pulford. Chris is survived by his companion, and best friend, Joyce Fiore, with whom he resided; daughter Christine Keegan of Horseheads with her children, Alysaa and Tristan Keegan; daughter and son-in-law, Elizabeth and Rodney Kent of Gainseville VA with their sons, Brandon (Denisse) and Justin Kent; daughter and son-in-law, Patricia and Lawrence Boehm of Athens PA with their daughters, Corrine and Alyse Rivera; sister and brother-in-law, Ellen and Charles Doherty of Albuquerque NM; brothers and sister-in-law, Shawn Pulford of Frederick MD, and Frank “Hoby” and Rebecca Pulford of Brentwood TN; uncles and aunt, Samuel and Jean Pulford of Nichols NY, Paul Holbrook of Jekyll Island GA; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Chris retired from his life-long career at Clute Motors. He had many friends and enjoyed socializing at local establishments in Elmira Heights. A Funeral Mass will be held Saturday, August 20, 2011 at 9:00 a.m. at Mount Saviour Monastery, 231 Monastery Road, Pine City, for Chris, and for his mother, Mary Holbrook Pulford, who died June 13, 2011. Chris’ family would like to thank the Elmira Heights Police, Fire, and EMS, and the caring staff at the Arnot Ogden Emergency Department.
