Harry A.
Domineski, Sr.
Elmira: Age 83, passed away on Sunday, May 29,
2011. Harry was a son of the late
Stanley and Rena (Losinger) Domineske.
He was predeceased by the love of his life, his wife of 59 years,
Dorothy (Zuchowski) Domineske in on May 3, 2008. Harry was also predeceased by his brother
Frank. He is survived by his children,
Harry Domineske Jr., Jerome Domineske with wife Cathy, Debbie Deming with
husband Mark, all of Elmira, Don Domineske with wife Pamela of Hector NY;
grandchildren, H.R., Kelli, Amanda, Tiffany, Eric, Jennifer, Jaime, and Ashley;
great grandchildren, MaKena, Nolan, Jordon, Nykolas, Elias and Jett. Also surviving are numerous nieces and
nephews. Harry was a U.S. Army veteran
of WW II and served in Germany
at the end of the war. Harry had worked
as a machinist at Bendix in Elmira
Heights for 35
years. He was a member of the Elmira
Heights American Legion Post #154. Harry
was an avid hunter and fisherman, traits that have been passed down to his
three sons. He was a longtime
communicant of St. Casimir’s Church.
Harry’s greatest joy was time spent with his family. Family
and friends are invited to McInerny Funeral Home, corner of W. Water and Walnut
Streets, on Sunday, June 5, 2011 from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on
Monday, June 6, 2011 at 9:30 a.m. at St. Casimir’s Church. Committal prayers and interment, with military
honors, will follow at St. Peter & Paul’s Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please consider a

in Harry’s memory.
